We are a union of almost 500 certified educational professionals dedicated to serving all children attending public schools in the Bedford Central School District, New York.  Our membership includes teachers, guidance counselors, social workers, psychologists, registered nurses, occupational therapists and physical therapists.

Our union is part of the over 600,000 member New York State United Teachers (NYSUT).  We are also a part of the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) and the National Education Association (NEA). 

Our members are dedicated to providing the best possible education for our students.  We take pride in maintaining a fair and professional relationship with the Bedford Central School District, with the goal of ensuring the most productive instructional  conditions for teachers.  We are also actively involved in many community activities in the Bedford area.
